On work

Any time I go visit my mom, she'll always ask, usually on weekends, if I want to go do some errands with her or visit a family member. I usually try to do so, so we can spend more time together, but I also try to use my time in Mexico and specially at my mom's house to relax and "do work".

"sorry mom, I'm busy"

"busy with what? it's sunday"

"I'm... working

"You're working on the weekends? Your companny makes you work on weekends? Oh my god, that sounds horrible

"No mom, it's not work work... it's like... things I'm working on

"So external work? Like, consulting for a client?

"Kind of, maybe, but not really
