Date notation

Rodrigo Tello

I like writing dates the following way 2023-09-13 or 2023.09.13. I took this practice from Hopscotch.

I just learned that is actually an ISO standard (ISO 8601) for date representation. It's preferred in many contexts because it's both human-readable and easily sorted in a manner that's intuitive. It also avoids ambiguity between day and month that can occur in other formats (e.g., 01/02/2020 could mean January 2nd or February 1st, depending on your country).
