The first lesson, sentence that I learned in Architecture Seminar class in colllege, was that the reason why Museums exist is because we, humans, like to collect things. We collect for all esoteric reasons, most of the times the origin of that impulse gets lost and lose its' meaning but the collection grows a meaning on itself. Collecting, classifying, and archiving gives meaning. New meanings, perhaps.

I'm perhaps, more than a collector, a hoarder, but I've been trying to reframe my habit into a practice and I believe sharing it - like I've seen other colleagues doing it - can elevate my mania-turned-habit-turned-practice into its own intellectual pursuit.
