Thinking long term and short term

I was recently asked by two people close to me two different questions that lead to to me thinking of the same answer:

• How do you deal with the inner voices, the inner critic, the judge?
• How do you practice hobbies with no goals?

This text is an attempt to reflect on my answer and both questions, more properly.
